Friendship – Read Me A Story

Jesus is interested in our children becoming good friends with others. Friendship is a wonderful tool for evangelism, powerful for the child’s personal growth, and a meaningful way for them to be a blessing to others. Talk with your child about what it looks like to be a good friend. Share the wonderful story of Jonathan and David and their loyal friendship from the Bible (1 Samuel 18-20). Parents and teachers, children are looking to us to be the example of friendship for them. Let’s reach out to those around us and be friendly.
