Honesty – Read Me A Story

To help your child develop in the area of honesty, begin by rewarding them when they tell the truth. This can be done through simple spoken praise when they exibit positive attributes or complete a job successfully. If your child tells a lie, help them to understand what they did and what God’s response would be. Help them to ask for forgiveness and move on. Another way to help your child to develop in this area is by encouraging them to choose friends who tell the truth.
