Moving Heaven and Earth

During these next thirty-one days we are going to be looking at some of the great prayers of the Bible. There will be passages where we find a writer calling out to God because a crisis had come, and he didn’t have a solution to his problem. In other instances, we will listen to a cry for deliverance from a sinful condition. There are prayers of commitment and consecration, prayers of intercession for family members and friends, and prayers of praise and worship. These brief studies will be lessons on how individuals in the Bible prayed and how they moved heaven and earth in doing so. As we meditate upon the prayer for that day, let it refresh our spirit and challenge us to go deeper in our walk with God.
